About Me

Naturally Obsessed? Yes, I am. Lucky for me, I was raised by two holistic-minded people that were ahead of the time. Growing up, there was absolutely zero processed, junk food in my home. No kidding! I experienced processed and packaged food plenty outside of my home, but don't tell my mom! I cringe to admit that in college my kitchen staples were licorice, diet soda and pretzels! It is funny, yet horrifying, how 'uncool' I once thought fresh homemade and homegrown organic food was. Times have come full-circle for me.  I am Naturally Obsessed; a junkie for fresh organically grown, preservative-free whole foods.

I have always had a love of endurance sports, fitness and fresh food, but putting it all together changed not only my digestion, but my performance.  Eating the right food for your specific body changes everything! Your diet directly reflects 80% of how you look (and feel) physically. The remaining 20% is split evenly between physical exercise and genes.  Don't waste your time spent exercising if you are not doing what truly matters. Clean up your diet. Nourish your life from the inside out and really see firsthand how real, beautiful, whole food changes everything!- waistline, skin and relationships included.

I personally live using a 80/20 guideline. 80 percent of the time, I LOVE myself up with whole, fresh and organic cell-nourishing foods. Thus, allowing flexibility and grace 20 percent of the time. No 'cheat' days and no time to feel 'guilty". I suspect that when you too experiment with crowding out the nasty processed stuff {dead food},and replace with fresh, organic beautifully alive food, soon you will lose the junky junk & sugar cravings.

Let's not forget the impact of nutrition, or lack thereof, on our sweet children. Instilling healthy eating habits today will greatly impact their lifelong relationship with food. It is my desire to help provide our kiddos with the best opportunity to grow into healthy confident adults. It is no secret that our children observe everything we do, and are greatly influenced by our lifestyle choices and behaviors. Our children's diet is directly reflected to what they are being offered, and how they see their caregivers eat {and think}.

As your health guide, my goal is to empower you to experience a subtle, yet massive shift!

I received my Health Coaching education from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and I am accredited/certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). My education has trained me in more than one-hundred dietary theories, and I studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my passion, knowledge and expertise, we co-create a personalized “road-map to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. I also hold a certification in Wholistic Kinesiology, a kinesiology method developed by Dr. J Dunn, focused on locating imbalances in the body using muscle testing.

Prior to becoming a Health Coach, I earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, and spent ten years working in a challenging Information Technology career that I loved. Along came motherhood, coupled with a big move, and I put my career on hold to focus on a new chapter of life. Today, I am obsessed with sharing what I absolutely live and love. I am passionate about spreading the word on ways to be healthier, happier, balanced and energized.
