1 large organic head Romaine lettuce
1/2 jicama, peeled & cut into medium pieces (like little croutons)
1 large organic avocado, pitted and cut into chunks
1 organic lime, freshly squeezed (you may need 2 if not very juicy)
1 tsp jalapeño pepper, diced
1/2 tsp dulse powder
1/2 himalayan sea salt
1 small garlic clove, minced
Blend all ingredients together in a mini food processor or blender until smooth. Toss with the salad ingredients.
This is a spin on the usual Caesar salad. The dulse seaweed adds a hint of smoke & deep flavor, also dulse is chock full of beauty minerals from the sea.
