Roasted Asparagus (or Broccoli)

1 bunch organic asparagus (or broccoli)
1 - 2 tsp organic extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp unrefined sea salt
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper

Option, add:
1/4 cup freshly shredded parmesan cheese


Preheat oven to 475.

Snap or cut off ends of asparagus.

In a big bowl, drizzle olive oil in bowl then toss asparagus with hands. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Arrange asparagus in an even layer in a shallow baking dish.

If Desired: Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake until asparagus is crisp, but tender and cheese is browned. About 10 minutes. Serve immediately!
